Large hand-crafted model of the Second Temple made out of pure olive-wood with a light illuminating the Holy of Holies. The second temple was an important Jewish Holy Temple. It replaced the first temple which was destroyed in 586 BCE. After years in exile, King Darius allowed some Jews to return to Judea in order to rebuild Jerusalem and the Temple. The second Temple underwent many partial renovations and even a complete dismantling and rebuilding until its destruction by the Romans in 70 CE.
